Accept One Another – Romans 14:1-4

Pastor Joel encourages the congregation of Asian Christian Church, Edmonton, to live by the imperative of Romans 14 – Accept One Another.

Mutual reception, mutual love and mutual service is to practiced in the household of God. This will mean for our church to develop an environment where all disciples of Jesus Christ are accepted and valued.

We do this because

1. God receives both the weak and the strong (Romans 14:1-4)

2. All is done for the honour of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving to God (Romans 14:5-9)

3. Only God is the Judge to whom alone each of his servants has to give account of their life. (Romans 14:10-12)

(Originally preached on June 2, 2013 in the Sunday Worship Service at Asian Christian Church, Edmonton.)

  1. Canada being a cultural mosaic, the sermon is very meaningful and befitting, it points towards a happier and bigger family of Christ. I liked it very much. God Bless Pastor Joel and his work.
